Back to the Grind

With Boomershoot 2014 over and done with, there is little else to do besides wait for the announcement of next year’s dates and try to remember the cool ideas we had for next years event.

Oh, and show off some of the pics (all are “click to enlarge”, if you want them larger).

To get it out of the way, yes, it rained on us this year. This is the first time in the nine years since I first went that the weather for the day of the event wasn’t perfect. Personally, I’ll take those odds any day.

And now you get to see David improvise

Never let it be said that he isn’t a die hard shooter. I had even given up by then.

Here is an entry side view of our spots at The Boomeragio

We rolled out the red carpet for folks.

And here is a boomer-side view of the Boomeragio.

Dave the RNS Photographer is on the left side of the image, with David in the middle and I’m on the right with my new bench. When I get the truck unloaded I will be setting up the bench for some photos which I’ll feature here in the near future (hopefully by this weekend). Let me just say now that this prototype worked beyond my expectations and that with a couple of easy refinements, it will ready for manufacture.

Dave and David will be along shortly, I have no doubt, with their tales and photo evidence. David is still working his way back south to Cali and Dave is heading back to Michigan via Colorado (to visit some family). Give them a couple days and you’ll be anticipating Boomershoot 2015 as much as we are.

I got in yesterday @ 1700 and have to be back at school this morning @ 0700. So please excuse the brevity, but I really need to get some shut-eye before I go play with fire.
