It Burns So Good, Daddy

At Pistol Class, my wife got burned by the brass from my Glock. She kept her finger off the trigger –good girl! — but muzzled herself a bit during the commotion. All ended well, though.

The bad part is that the second day she ditched the low-cut top.

Ah, yet, that most attractive of birds, the double-breasted brass-catcher.

@anthony &rolf: Connie laughed at both of your comments. Rolf, she has a new nickname thanks to you.

No offense given, David, but at MY NRA Range Safety Officer class, we were taught to suggest crew-neck shirts to shooters and even have a few spare t-shirts to lend out on the firing line. Maybe a word to your class organizer is in order.

RD, none taken. I had been showering her and her instructor with hot brass all day long with no ill effect, because it was cloudy and she was wearing an overshirt. It was only at the end of the day, when the sun came out and we all started removing clothing, that she became vulnerable.

Bless her, er, heart. Few more and your love will have a brass necklace.
