So the free China Daily newspapers that started appearing on my driveway last week ( and my neighbors’) have stopped, just as abruptly.
I suspect folks complained, especially when they read this article (not an editorial, mind you) on Page 2, two days after Memorial Day:

If our purported Chinese overlords want to affect hearts and minds here, they need to fire their marketing department.

IIRC, the Chinese just bought a great big chunck of Idaho. Maybe they are just testing the waters so to speak…
Don’t blame them … dollars are becoming worthless, so they need to convert them into something real.
Of course, that also means that anyone that wants to sue the government of China now has something to attach liens to. Maybe they should have rethought this?
