One Response to My Cousin Vinny on AT&T Mobility v. Concepcion

Why is it that whenever I try to read a legal brief or analysis like that one, I recognize/know pretty much all the words, but I get to the end of a sentence and think to myself “what the heck does all that mean?!” I feel like I not only need a line-by-line translation, but a phrase-by-phrase translation with appended dissertations on the details to even have anything more than the vaguest clue what all it means, let alone its significance. Something more in layman’s terms (assume a reasonably intelligent and knowledgeable layman, somewhat familiar with the concepts, but not familiar with the terminology), but not quite as succinct as Vinny.
