OK, maybe not ONLY in Texas, but I know that a story such as this would never make the news here in my neck of the woods.
Good story, though the fact that the reporter felt the need to ask deputies if Mr. Brooks was within his rights to do what he did, shows just how far down we’ve slipped as a society.
That it would even cross the mind of someone is a shame in and of itself.
