Well, first of all, yesterday was his first blogaversary, so you should congratualte him on that. I know mine is sometime in may, but I don’t know which day, so good on him for remembering.
Next up, he is organizing the Gun Blogger Rendezvous in Reno, NV this November and has been looking about for a Speaker or ‘Guest of Honor’.
Yesterday, he fulfilled his quest. The man’s name is Dan McKown.
Like Mr. C said, if the name rings a bell, you might remember posts, both here at RNS and on other blogs, about a shooting at the Tacoma Mall last November.
Mr. McKown was the CCW holder who went towards the sound of the gun and was later shot by the gunman. Mr. McKown’s being at the Rendezvous is worth the price of admission to any event, and the cost of travel to this one.
Sadly, that is the Analog Wife and my anniversary and I am not allowed to go. It is all the more grating now that I hear who will be there.
