Belated Range Reports

While neither David or I were able to attend “The Best Boomershoot Ever”, Ben at Reasonable Nut was able to. And if I had spent a bit more time on this here interweb around the end of last week, I’d have found this and posted it sooner.

The latest installment of the Blogger Blastorama meet, greet, eat and shoot thingamajigs took place on Saturday and Mr. Completely has the very excellent range report right here.

It was just him and I and Mark and Lisa, which was nice because I was able to do some chatting as well as some shooting, because as I always say, you absolutely do meet the nicest people at the range.

And because of that, I am going to pre-emptively invite any and all who wish to join us for a good time to the next Blastorama, which will be announced sooner than later (just a bit more coordinating necessary).

One of the coolest features of attending these get-togethers, besides the great people, is that you will probably get to shoot something you haven’t shot before. In my case, Mark had a Kel Tec P3AT that I am pretty sure I absolutely need.

I have an old Palm that is bigger and much heavier than the Kel Tec (even when loaded). Quite literally, with the chamber unloaded, I slipped the gun and the full mag next to one another into a chest pocket on my shirt. I think that I could have forgotten they were there if I’d have given it another couple of minutes.

No jams during just under a box of ammo of firing and while not the most accurate of leadslingers, it easily stays within ‘Minute of Goblin’.

Hope to see y’all at the next one.

The Kel-Tec is a fine weapon, but if you liked it, you’ll LOVE my new NAA Guardian in the steamy little .32NAA
