Seriously, I haven’t seen any of the leading left wing blogs that I regularly (and not so regularly) visit talking about Louisiana Governor Blanco’s suspension of elections in New Orleans Parrish.
Yesterday, millions of Iraqi’s braved the possibility of gunmen, random IED blasts and kidnappings to WALK, not drive their cars, not ride a bus or even a damn donkey, THEY WALKED, sometimes for miles, to their nearest polling place to cast a single ballot.
Yet Governor Blank won’t give her subjects the ability to vote because a city was flooded months ago.
Screw recalling her, she needs to be removed from office and tried for denying the citizens of New Orleans Parrish the their civil rights. Because if Blanco had a big ol’ R after her name, you know that that is exactly what the Democrats would demand and it is their standard that we should hold them to.
