Made it out to Whidbey Island to the pin shoot yesterday and that was a good thing.
I will abstain from harping on the other good thing that happened yesterday and just ask that head on over to Mr. Completely’s place to read his write up (especially the 2nd from the last paragraph). I’ll get my range report up in a day or so, so think of this as a sneak preview for those of y’all who stop by on the weekends.
Otherwise, I need to catch up on my sleep today, which works out nicely since the weather seems to have taken somewhat of downward turn. It was so hot and muggy yesterday I doubt I could have slept anyway, so it was a good thing I made other plans.

I’ve got Massad Ayoob’s book on pin shooting, but I was sort of under the impression that formal pin shoots had died off. Glad to see they’re still going! Now I just have to find some nearby in California….
