To get rid of Social Security as it currently exists,
“Your estimated benefits are based on current law. Congress has made changes to the law in the past and can do so at any time. The law governing benefit amounts may change because, by 2042, the payroll taxes collected will be enough to pay only about 73% of the scheduled benefits.”
If someone ever tells you that you Social Security benefits are �Guaranteed� feel free to smack that lying sack of bile square upside their head.
The above paragraph is printed on the back of the statement you get when the government wastes your tax money to lie to you every year and send you a letter to “inform you” as to your benefits when you retire.
Now, if you think that the person lying to you may just be ignorant, you should just show them that paragraph on the back of your next statement. If they say �Oh, that is just a Karl Rove lie!� or something similar, they are a Democrat and you can do whatever you feel is necessary.
